2025 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat to Hammerhead spec.

In August, Dodge introduced two special edition Durangos to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Hemi V-8 engine in SUVs. Now, a third Durango SRT Hellcat Hummerhead has been added to the lineup.

The Durango SRT Hellcat Hummerhead will be available in the 2025 model year, just like the previous special models, and orders are already being taken. Prices start at $113,720, excluding destination, and while Dodge has not revealed how many production slots will be available, the numbers are usually limited on special editions like this one.

The hammerhead in the name comes from Dodge's hammerhead gray Laguna leather-trimmed seats. The dark blue exterior is a special shade called Night Move. Other features include the SRT Hellcat logo on the seats in a sepia finish, a matte black hood, and matte black finish on the 20-inch wheels.

A long list of Durango's premium features are also standard: 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, suede headliner, sunroof, carbon fiber interior accents, leather and suede steering wheel, wireless phone charger, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and more. Brembo brakes are also included as part of the package.

Under the hood is a stock Hellcat supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 engine. The Durango SRT Hellcat makes 710 hp, accelerates from 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds, runs the quarter mile in 11.5 seconds, and has a top speed of 180 mph, impressive numbers for a midsize SUV with a third-row seat.

Dodge is preparing to bid farewell to the V-8 engine with the Durango, the last model to offer the brand. As it did with the last V-8-powered Challenger and Charger muscle cars, Dodge will roll out a series of “last call” special editions to mark the end of the V-8 engine run in the Durango.

The first of these was revealed in January as the 2024 Durango SRT 392AlcHemi, with more planned for 2025.
