Amazon “Grand Tour” to continue with new host

Amazon Prime's “The Grand Tour” with Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May will end on September 13, but the show will continue, Hammond revealed.

In an interview with Metro published on September 2, Hammond revealed that the show will continue with a new host.

Amazon Prime itself has not announced any plans for the show beyond the final episode airing later this month.

As for Clarkson, Hammond, and May, the trio will not be regrouping to start a new car show, as they did with The Grand Tour after leaving BBC's Top Gear in 2016.

Clarkson said in an interview with The Sunday Times published on September 1 that his days of talking about cars on television are over. He specifically mentioned that he is “too old and fat” to actually drive the cars he wants to drive, and that he has no interest in driving when it comes to cars he can drive.

“The Grand Tour” ends with a final episode set in Zimbabwe. Its broadcast marks the end of an era that dates back to 2003, when Clarkson, Hammond, and May first appeared together on “Top Gear.” [...] [...] [...] [...] [...] [...] [...] [...]
