2026 F1 Car Design, Lanzant Tag Championship: Today's car news

F1 cars should be smaller and lighter from the 2026 season, leading to better races. This, in addition to many other changes for the next era of F1, the sports sanction body, the FIA, offers just a full preview.

In the 1980s, McLaren made a 1-time Porsche with an F1 engine, a 1-time Porsche 911. British motorsport and engineering company Lanzante recently picked up where McLaren was suspended and built more examples, using the same tag-branded Porsche F1 power unit used in McLaren's original build. The resulting car is known as the Tag Turbo, and Lanzante has now revealed a version with even more power.

Mercedes-Benz is working on updating the S-Class, as evidenced by the sightings of the camouflage prototype. Camouflage gear points to the new design of the front and rear of the flagship sedan, including a much larger grille and new lights.
