2025 Porsche 911 with manual transmission can not be ordered — yet

If there is a car destined to be the last with a manual transmission, it must be a Porsche 911. But as it is today, anyone who orders the latest 2025 model can not choose the 3rd pedal.

The 2025 Porsche 911 lineup currently consists of updated versions of the Carrera, Carrera GTS, Carrera 4GTS and Targa 4GTS grades, as well as carry-over versions of the Turbo, Turbo S and GT3RS.

When contacted by the Motor Authority, a Porsche spokesman confirmed that at the moment the 2025 911 lineup cannot be ordered with a manual transmission, but our contact could not comment on any potential changes planned under the road. It was a great experience.

Noticeably missing are the Carrera S, Carrera 4S, Carrera T, GT3, and GT3 Touring, and updated versions of all these grades popular with fans of manual transmissions, at least in some of them, the standard 8-speed dual-clutch audio. As an alternative to Tomatic, it should be possible to order at a later date with the previously available 7-speed manual transmission.

The gts grade is also popular with manual fans, but the updated 2025 911 introduces a new hybrid powertrain with an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic and an integrated electric motor as the standard powertrain for the grade, and it is likely that the manual will return to the GTS. This means that it is low.

The hybrid powertrain is expected to be added to the automatic only Turbo S grade when it undergoes its own updates. The prototype of the car has not yet been tested.

In addition to the new hybrid powertrain of the Gts grade, Porsche's 2025 model update includes minor styling adjustments to the fascia design and the addition of lights at both ends, a fully digital dash and engine starter button. The updated 911 also comes standard with 2+2 seat configurations available with only 2 seats but as a gratuitous option. Prices start at destination122,095 and include destination fees of destination1,995 and deliveries are expected to start in the fall.
