Cadillac Escalade IQ, 2024 Ford Super Duty Tremor, Future of Maserati: Top Photos of the Week

The 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ will make its debut on August 9 in New York City. The automaker confirmed the debut of the electric Escalade while releasing a teaser image and video depicting the front-end lighting signature.

Ford teased the Mustang GT4, revealing that the racecar will debut on June 28. The debut will take place at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium, where the GT4, based on the seventh-generation Mustang, is designed for privateer racing.

The next Nissan Z Nismo was confirmed in a teaser video announcing that the sports car will debut this summer. Featuring a modest (by Nismo standards) body kit, sleek Recaro bucket seats, and perhaps more power, the hotter Z looks appealing.

I drove a Ford Super Duty Tremor, refreshed for 2023. The off-road variant of the heavy-duty pickup truck learned a few new software tricks from the Bronco and Raptor lineup, while gaining useful technology for towing and the ability to fit 37-inch tires without modifications.

The refreshed 2024 BMW 4 Series lineup, which includes a coupe, soft-top convertible, and high-performance M4, was caught by spy photographers conducting circuit testing at the Nürburgring. With refreshed Lightning Elements and BMW's latest cabin technology, the updates should be mild.

We sat down with Bill Peffer, CEO of Maserati America, and learned that Maserati's transition into the future of electric cars boils down to one thing: the electric car. The CEO candidly admitted that if Maserati had not been part of the larger Sterantis automotive group, this historic brand would not have been able to make the change.

The 2024 Mercedes-Benz E-Class wagon debuted but will not be launched in the US market. A Mercedes-Benz USA spokesperson confirmed to Motor Authority that the long-roof variant of the E-Class will not be offered in the U.S. again, but did not comment on the future of the lifted all-terrain variant that is currently sold in the U.S.
