2023 Acura TLX starting at $40,745, add free service

The 2023 Acura TLX enters the new model year with minimal changes, most notably the new standard AcuraLink telematics services.

Including a security package and a remote package, customers now have free access to these services for three years. The security package includes automatic collision notification, emergency alert capabilities, enhanced roadside assistance, and an app to erase personal data. The Remote package includes Amazon Alexa connectivity, remote engine start, vehicle locking/unlocking, stolen vehicle search, and a Find My Car feature.

Acura also included as standard a free maintenance package for the first two years of the vehicle's life or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first. This covers oil and filter changes, tire rotations, and inspections, and is transferable to subsequent owners.

No other changes are expected, but the current TLX is still fairly new, dating back only to the 2021 model year. The standard version still uses a 2.0-liter turbo four that produces 272 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque, connected to a 10-speed automatic transmission and standard front-wheel drive or optional Super Handling All Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) system

Acura's SH-AWD system is also available.

The Acura TLX Type S continues to be powered by a turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6 that produces 355 hp and 354 lb-ft of torque and comes standard with all-wheel drive. In July, Acura unveiled a special PMC Edition version of the TLX Type S, with orders beginning in October. The name comes from Acura's Performance Manufacturing Center, and like previous PMC editions, the TLX Type S PMC Edition features the same special paint job painted with tender love and care that was once allowed for the NSX supercar built at the center. The paint color is the same as was once allowed for the NSX supercar built at the center.

Pricing for the 2023 Acura TLX starts at $40,745 including destination. This is up from about $39,000 at the start of the 2022 model year; the TLX Type S starts at about $54,000 to $56,445 and the PMC Edition starts at $63,995.
