Novitec boosts the McLaren Senna to 902 hp.

There's no shortage of power in the McLaren Senna, but German tuning legend Novitec has nonetheless managed to enhance the driving pleasure even further.

The Senna is a track-oriented supercar with a factory output of 789 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque - enough to accelerate from a standing start to 62 mph in 2.8 seconds, the quarter mile in 9.9 seconds, and a top speed of 211 mph.

Novitec tweaked the Senna's 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine to produce 902 hp and 655 lb-ft. According to the tuner, with this power, the Senna accelerates to 62 mph in 2.7 seconds. However, the top speed remains the same, probably due to the Senna's huge rear antifender.

This may seem like a minor improvement, but Novitec claims that if you take the Senna to the track where it needs to perform, it will have better throttle response and a larger torque curve, which is ideal for unleashing power in and out of corners.

Major changes include a new engine control module to adjust boost levels, new fuel injector and ignition circuitry. A special Inconel exhaust system was also added. The stock Senna has three exhaust pipes, while the Novitec exhaust has two.

The final touch is a set of forged 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels. The wheels have Vossen's MC3 center locking MC3 and are available in 72 color options with satin or polished finishes. The Novitec is fitted with Pirelli P Zero tires measuring 255/30 at the front and 325/25 at the rear.

Novitec can also modify the Senna's interior. For example, customers can add alcantara or leather trim in the color of their choice.

Novitec is best known for its refinements for Ferrari cars, but in recent years it has been expanding to more models, including Tesla. Most of the refinements offered by the company can be ordered individually.
