2025 Ford Bronco picks up technology update, matte protective film
The Ford Bronco will enter the 2025 model with a raft of changes that will add some style while the technology also updates. The change is the most extensive since the revival of the 2021 model rugged SUV, which also includes a lower starting price.
Among the changes is the standard 8.0-inch digital gauge cluster, which replaces the current 12.0-inch screen and another speedometer. The screen is limited to Bronco Raptor, each G.O.A.T.We were able to display more information, such as dedicated animations for the mode.
The infotainment system relies on the 2024 Bronco's added center-stack 12-inch touchscreen display. And there's a new 10-speaker B&O audio system that replaces the previous 12-speaker setup.
For the 2nd row passengers, a new 4-door Broncos air conditioning vent, additional indoor lighting, and more soundproofing have been added.
Ford also confirmed the return of the Bronco base model after a 1-year hiatus, lowering the starting price to down39,890, and the 2024 base41,025 base sticker for the model. 2025 Bronco, which Ford said was quiet at highway speeds, also comes with a previously announced free wheeling package and a Stroppe special edition. Buyers can also apply a black appearance package and paint protective film with a matte finish (not available in Bronco Raptor). To further customize, FORD has launched a new FORD Custom GARAGE Personalization program at this week's 2024SEMA show in LAS VEGAS. The program groups design and performance options into a simple order package, with the first 2 available in Bronco.
No changes have been made to the Bronco's mechanics in 2025. This means four-wheel drive across the board, along with a selection of 2.3-liter Turbo 4, and offers up to 300 hp or up to 330 hp and a twin-turbocharged 2.7-liter V-6. The Bronco Raptors are equipped with a twin turbocharged 3.0-litre V-type 6-cylinder 418 horsepower. All powertrain comes with a 10-speed automatic, but the Turbo 4 can be chosen with a 7-speed manual.
Bronco in 2025 is already available for order and the first delivery is scheduled for winter. The base price ofー39,890 is for the Bronco with a turbo 4 and 7-speed manual. Adding a 10-speed automatic costs an extra 1 to 1,495. Those interested in the new Stroppe edition will have to pay at least pay77,530, but the Raptor is still the flagship model, with prices starting at pricing91,930.
