2025 Honda Civic Si, new exterior and chassis

Honda on Tuesday unveiled the 2025 Civic Si Sport Sedan, which will go on sale later this summer.

It will be priced at $31,045, including a $1,095 destination charge. This is $850 more than the current model, but Honda has included new standard features.

The current Civic Si is already one of the best affordable performance cars on the market, and the updated version only improves the formula.

Power from the 1.5-liter turbo four remains the same at 200 hp, but the standard six-speed manual now includes an enhanced rev-matching system that blips the throttle when downshifting from second to first gear for the first time. Driving force remains front-wheel only.

Some changes have also been made to the body structure, including reinforcements at the base of the B-pillar and around the door sills, to improve rigidity. According to Honda, this, coupled with adjustments to the suspension dampers to match the stiffer body, has improved overall driving dynamics.

Honda also offers high-performance summer tires to buyers for an additional $300. The standard tires are all-season rubber, wrapped around 18-inch wheels.

The updated Civic Si can be easily spotted by its new front mask and hex-pattern grille. The taillights are also darker, and buyers can choose Honda's popular paint finish, Urban Gray Pearl, for the first time.

The interior features a new 10.2-inch digital meter cluster in addition to the existing 9.0 infotainment touchscreen. This larger size adds a tachometer, gear position display, and shift light indicator. The infotainment system has Google built in and a new front USB-C port.

Heated front sport seats are now standard, and red contrast stitching on the sport pedals, steering wheel, and door panels remains on the standard equipment list. A 12-speaker Bose audio system is also standard.

Honda's suite of electric driver assistance features known as Honda Sensing has also been updated. Major changes include a collision warning system with improved visibility for cyclists, adaptive cruise control and active lane control for smoother, more natural operation, Honda promises.
